Thanks for Dropping By!
I’m Dr. Kei Graves (he/him or they/them), a scholar, educator, and facilitator whose work explores examining how we experience, navigate, and cultivate beauty and embodied awareness in everyday life (for my academics, that includes the aesthetic philosophies of sensation, taste, anaesthetic detachment, and somaesthetics or embodied aesthetics).
With over a decade of experience in higher education, nonprofits, and community settings, I bring deep expertise in humanities education, student development, and social justice to all my work. I hold a Master’s degree in Humanities (visual art and media), a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies (education, with designated emphasis in social justice), and certificates in coaching and educational leadership.
As a scholar and educator, I publish work on aesthetic philosophies and somatic experience, while also facilitating meaningful professional development for adults across various industries. Through Aesthetically Liberated, LLC, I offer consultation for individuals and organizations interested in cultivating more engaged, intentional, and beautiful approaches to living and working.
Grounded in liberatory practices and a commitment to justice and inclusion, I’m dedicated to supporting growth toward more thoughtful, embodied, and equitable communities.
